Protyping Made Easy

Computers are focal point of our highly technological civilization. It is because of the creation of computers that we have been able to progress globally. Computers have made our lives easer by providing automated solutions to tasks that would other wise take us forever to accomplish manually.

Computers are more than the piece of equipment on your desk in which you type on. Computers have a great influence in the development of the manufacturing industry.

Prototypes are an important step in the manufacturing process. It is in this process that we will encounter computer numerical control or CNC prototyping. In CNC prototyping, a computer controller basically translates the design data and produces a 3D output of that data through a mechanical device.

This whole process has revolutionized the manufacturing process because previously, prototypes were difficult to produce because it consumed a lot of time, effort and cost to make. Now with CNC prototyping, complex 3D virtual designs by design engineers are easily translated actual 3D models with straight and curved lines easily replicated automatically. With CNC prototyping machines, producing prototypes are fast, easy and cost effective.

Now that CNC prototyping processes are available for most prototyping problems, the manufacturing process is greatly sped up. The savings in time and effort allow greater productivity by allowing design engineers to work on more with less time needed. This means a greater and faster turn over within a shorter amount of time. This of course then directly translates into the bottom line and profits for the business.

Sometimes, there is need for more than one CNC prototyping machine to produce the various components of a prototype. In this case, a series of CNC prototyping machines are grouped together and in most cases, these CNC prototyping machines are controlled by computer aided manufacturing or CAM software packages.

It is this CAM software package that aids the design engineer in deciding what types of tools, processes and paths in manufacturing are to be used. After this, the process becomes almost completely automated.

With continuous technological advancements in this area of CNC prototyping, it won't be long before the whole process is made even easier and more convenient. Thanks to the aid of machines run by computers, there won't be much need for too much human interference in the prototyping process. This in turn, speeds up the actual manufacturing process. Which in turn, makes things easier for everyone.

Changing The Way We Listen To Music With The MP3 Music Player

Not so very long ago most of us who are old enough to remember probably had a collection of vinyl albums that reflected our wide taste in music. Such technology was all we knew and, with the help of a record player, we could enjoy our songs without having to wait for them to come on the radio. Today, technology is so different that it barely resembles its former self. Music lovers of today carry around portable devices that store all of their favorite songs in a piece of equipment that is barely larger than our thumbs. The MP3 music player technology initially appeared in the mid-1980s but we would not see the player in its present state until the late 1990s – 1999 to be exact. But when it made its appearance it would change the world of music forever.

The MP3 music player utilizes media formatting technology to convert existing audio files to the MP3 format. The MP3 format consists of compressed audio files; audio that has been compressed into very small files that can fit into the MP3 music player. And it achieves this compression without sacrificing the audio's sound quality. In some instances, depending on capacity of the particular MP3 music player, users can fit thousands of songs within its confines. Better still, because of its size the MP3 music player is a portable unit that can fit in handbags and coat pockets. Users have access to their favorite songs no matter where they are and what they are doing. And as their taste in music changes or expands they simply add additional songs to their MP3 music player collection.

The MP3 music player is able to capture audio files through the use of the computer. The most popular variation of the MP3 music player – the iPod – made linking to the computer simple and convenient for users. So much so that most MP3 music players that are sold today are done so because of their compatibility to Apple software – the company that manufacturers iPod.

On the computer, users can either upload their favorite CDs that can then be downloaded onto the MP3 music player; or they can purchase songs online and then download them to the unit. Apple's iTunes is the most commonly used musical resource for purchasing and downloading songs.

But aside from the convenience in downloading, the MP3 music player is universally revered for its portability. It can be plugged into your vehicle and played through your car's audio system, plugged into headphones and played while you exercise, or plugged into portable speakers and played throughout your home. In any case, the MP3 music player is the most comprehensive piece of equipment available on the market today to play music.

    Plastics are the Best

Plastic is one of the more commonly used materials for prototyping. Product development engineers, production consultants, inventors, special project leaders, and retail and production prototype specialist turn to plastics to create their moldings and prototypes.

These people know that plastic can be molded, cut and manipulated in any ways conceivable to create prototypes that would benefit the development of their products. Prototypes from plastic can be drop tested, tested for strength, sterilized, tested for consumer preference and durability, and can be put into actual use in no time at all at bare minimum costs.

With plastic prototyping, designers have different options at their disposal. Designers and developers can use rapid prototyping techniques which have tools like stereolithography, deposition modeling, laser sintering, laminated object manufacturing, and three dimensional printing at its forefront.

All these incorporates the basics of rapid prototyping, each technique creates individual parts from 3D-CAR models and joins them as layers until the final prototype is finished.

Using rapid prototyping techniques allows fast reproduction of prototypes regardless of the complexity of shapes.

However, it could be inexpensive at first but since each part is created individually, production costs may go up as the number of parts needed increases. Also, final output always have rough finish which brings the need to polish each part as they come out of their moldings.

An alternative is rapid injection molding techniques which incorporates the use of metal molds. This technique is able to create plastic parts that are fully functional and have a good finish. Since the molds are made of metal, they are able to support a wider range of resins and can come out as a lot cheaper than rapid prototyping or rapid tooling.

Regardless of the technique, the resulting plastic prototype should encompass the qualities of less production costs and more speed in production. The finished part also must adhere to certain standards.

Any prototype part must mimic the shape, size, finish and even color of the final production part. And any prototype part must at least be similar to the production part's strength, chemical resistance, flexibility, durability and heat tolerance just to name a few.

Plastic is a very good material to create models which can be assembled, tested and used as close as the production parts.

Using the right prototyping techniques can save you time and money and allow you to simplify your production process, both for the prototype and the actual production unit. Remember that if the prototype is good, the final product could be good as well.

Hero's Journey (Monomyth): Screenwriting Secrets 190507

    FORWARD

The 188 stage Hero's Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188+ stage template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.

[The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979)].

    THERE IS ONLY ONE STORY

    THE 188 STAGE HERO'S JOURNEY:

    a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

    b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

    c) Gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and achieving catharses, of which there are usually four).

    d) Tells you what to write. For example, at a certain stage of the story, the focus should be on the Call to Adventure and the micro elements within.

    ABRIDGED TIPS, EXCERPTS AND EXAMPLES:

(simply go to http://www.heros-journey.info/ for full details)

    *****Outer Challenge*****

The Outer Cave of the First Threshod is where the Hero's Outer Challenge is made explicit, In Straw Dogs (1971), David sees Charlie put her hands on Amy's throat; he hides behind the curtain - a metaphor for his hiding in the house.

    *****Belly of the Whale*****

One aspect of the Belly of the Whale is this: having undergone the changes in the First Threshold, the Hero et al must now confront what they must do, what they will become. They msut show that they have evolved from the earlier Fish out of Water state.: In Bonnie and Clyde (1967), both rob the bank proper this time.

    *****Push to the Oracle*****

Despite conflict and resistances (often from a Romantic Challenge), there is a push to the Journey to the Oracle and then Sword. In Straw Dogs (1971), David confronts Cawsey and Scott about the dead cat.

    *****Crossing the Return Threshold*****

The Crossing the Return Threshold is a dangerous journey and the resulting New Domain that the Hero finds himself in, contains the Antagonism. In Bonnie and Clyde (1967), Clyde steals another car, Moss drives, Moss gets some drinking water from the travelers, Moss takes Bonnie and Clyde to Pop.

    *****Foreshadow of the Inner Cave*****

Foreshadows are underestimated. In Brokeback Mountain (2005), Ennis showers. The sequence leads the heroes to the Inner Cave.

*****Magical Aid of the Middle Cave Trial*****

The Magical Aid is often used to resolve a Middle Cave conflict. In Star Wars (!977), Ben pays Han in cash. In Brokeback Mountain (2005), Ennis shoots the dear (the gun is the Magical Aid).

Article Writing - Structuring Your Online Article for Success

People are born with different sets of talents which may be entirely different form other people. Some of the people are good at writing while others are good at painting. There are people who understand music in a better way while others are good at outdoor sports. Writing is also one such talent. Some people are gifted with the sense of writing good stuff. Within this group of people we find people who can write really good fiction while others are good at writing articles or news. If you want to write good articles you need to follow certain rules which will make your articles easy to read and enjoyable. This ensures that your readers will benefit form your articles.

Most of the people plan what they want to write about in the articles. Although they know what they will be discussing in their article they are not very good at structuring it. A proper structure of an article will include small paragraphs and proper balance. There are many people who write articles just for the sake of writing it. If you want to write articles you should pay due attention towards its structure. Design the structure so as to make it more interesting and informative. The points should be discussed in some order which is intelligent enough. If you structure your article carefully the same information and words can be presented in a much better fashion. This is the reason that the article writers are generally very much concerned about the structure they should follow while writing an article. This improves your chances of making your reader go through the complete article.

Computers Of The Future - What Will They Be Like? A Quantum Leap Ahead!

We all get excited every time new computers get more powerful and hold more stuff. Just hold tight as computers take the next giant step in a few short years. We've seen the computer shrink in size as the 'microchip' becomes smaller and smaller. Now, scientists know that we can reduce the size of the same tasks down to the size of single atom! These are some of the more interesting developments in computer technology.

    Quantum Computers are the future…

The weird world of quantum mechanics doesn't follow the laws of classical physics at all. A quantum bit (qubit) doesn't exist in the typical 0 or 1 binary state of today's computers - a qubit can exist in either, plus a blend of both states. This subtle-sounding difference is the reason quantum transistors will enable a computer to operate 1,000,000,000 times faster than current computers! If you think a computer running at 4 GHz is fast, try one running at 40,000 GHz as predicted. While there are many hurdles to overcome, new techniques and discoveries are being made every day. Many people think that quantum computers could be a reality within just 5 to 10 years.

Optic Computers and Photonics are making progress…

Optic Computers take advantage of the speed of light rather than the speed of electricity, which makes them a good choice for data transmission. Electricity only flows at about 1/10 of the speed of light, but optic or photonic transistors should be able to operate thousands of times faster than today's computers. Already, fiber optic cables are common, but optics will soon be used for switches in computers. Individual photons can be directed to create the off/on switch used in transistors. But, unlike electricity, light beams can travel 'through' each other, eliminating the need for the bulky paths of conventional wiring. This will enable the optic computer to be as small as needed for any application.

Nanodot Storage could be the new hard drive storage…

A nanodot can be 50 nanometers wide and has north and south poles like a magnet. It can respond to outside changes, which makes it a prime candidate for storage. Current research shows that a nanodot drive could hold more than 100 times the capacity of a current hard drive in a much smaller space. Nanodot storage is not too far away, and will revolutionize the way we look at information storage.

Spintronics - another promising yet weird type of storage…

Current computer memory has limitations now that manufacturing processes are approaching limits on the size of transistors. Besides that, computer RAM (temporary memory storage) loses information when the computer is switched off. Now that things are at the quantum level, new possibilities are emerging. One field, called 'Spintronics', measures the 'spin' on an electron. Better yet, even when the computer is shut down, the information is not lost. Spintronic memory works with just a few atoms, probably on a surface created by ingaas fabrication (indium gallium arsenide), a promising new material.

Nanotubes and Graphene instead of silicone chips…

Today's computer chips sit on a silicone wafer, but the future computer may use nanotube fabrication or graphene fabrication instead. A graphene sheet is only one atom thick, and a nanotube is a 'rolled up' sheet of graphene with a diameter of one nanometer. These are considered the future of transistor manufacturing because these structures have excellent properties, such as electrical conduction, good strength and efficient heat properties, plus they can be used for many other types of materials as well.

Going Ballistic - deflecting electrons like a pinball game…

The ballistic deflection transistor bounces atoms around to create a new type of computer transistor. This atomic transistor can operate at terahertz speeds, over a thousand times faster than today's computer, as suggested by a Rochester team developing the technology. Computer chips made with BDT technology would be easy to manufacture and could just be the next wave in computer technology.

While not comprehensive, these are some of the coming trends of the future computer. They may sound like distant dreams, but they are all real, they are all being developed, and will be in your computer store sooner than you imagined.

Learn the Easy Way to Write Your Resume and Land the Job

Before starting your job hunt or writing your resume, you need to
identify the type of job you are going after. The reason for this
first step is so that you may identify both your strengths and
weaknesses that are applicable to the skill set you will need to
not only do the job well, but get the interview.

    So how do you
identify your strengths and weaknesses so you can land the job
    you want?

Knowing your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to the type of
job you are searching for will help you immensely in landing the
    job.

By knowing these things ahead of time, you can design your
resume and your answers in the interview, to focus on your strengths
that would apply to the position, while minimizing any weaknesses
    that you may have.

First, you need to identify your skills. Your job skills are your
ticket to getting the interview via your resume and then getting
the job offer through the job interview.

    In order to showcase
your skills, you need to know what they are. You don't want to
come off as arrogant but it's extremely important for you to sell
your abilities to your potential employer, first via your resume
and then in the job interview.

Your skills can be broken down into two different types - hard skills
and soft skills. Your hard skills are the things that you can actually
do in a job - software programs you know how to use, how many words
per minute you can type, machinery that you can operate, etc.

Soft skills are your personal qualities such as being a good team player,
the ability to work independently on projects, being organized, good
time management skills, the ability to lead, etc.

You can start developing your skill set for writing your resume by making
a list of your previous jobs and experience you acquired. Make a list of
each of your previous jobs and under those jobs write down the duties you
    performed and skills you used.

Now you can do two things with your lists of skills. If you have a certain
job that you want to pursue, you can pull out the skills that match the job
and be sure to emphasize those skills in your resume and your job interviews.

The other option, if you are not sure what type of job you want is to begin
researching jobs and make note of those jobs that match the skills you've
already obtained in your previous experiences.

By breaking down your experience into a specific skill set, you'll be on your
way to writing a resume that gets results.

Resume & Cover Letter Warning - Worst Mistake You Can Make

Years ago, when I worked in the human resources department at a school, I had an awesome resume in front of me, just brilliant! It was for a preschool teacher's position. And this teacher had it all—years of great experience, all the right classes & education, a great philosophy towards teaching. She was even bilingual, just what we needed at that time.

"I think she's it," I told a co-worker, grinning, and dialed up this teacher's number. And the person who answered told me something that gave me that old sinking feeling. "You have the wrong number."

So I gave the standard apology and hung up. I dialed again, carefully this time, just in case my anxious fingers had gotten a little carried away before. The thing was, lots of applicants had already been interviewed, and not too many seemed right for the position. This particular teacher, so far, was best qualified. (groan) She was perfect!

Same person answered. Same "wrong number" line said, with much more emphasis this time. And I gave the same sincere apology, with a lot more regret this time.

I even tried dialing a few similar numbers. Nothing at all. All wrong numbers.

As ridiculously simple as this might sound, if you'd like to get phone calls for interviews, you've gotta include your phone number, your correct phone number, on both your resume & your resume cover letter.

I'm not joking—I've actually seen, not one, but several resumes and cover letters, more than I should have, with incorrect phone numbers, or worse, without a phone number at all.

So do something priceless and take the time to go over your contact information, because you never know—any one of us could
accidentally type a wrong digit in our telephone number, or an incorrect letter in our email address.
It's an honest mistake, and it happens. So steadily comb through your resume, making sure it's all correct, and never think you're being too careful.

Another thing—be sure that your correct contact information is on your cover letter, and on all pages of your resume. This is good to do, because at times, pages can get shuffled around. This way, if any of your pages are lost or separated, you'll always have your correct contact information on every page, no matter what.

Putting together a compelling, interview-winning resume & cover letter—now who, searching for a better career, wouldn't want to do that? But without the right contact information on it, it becomes as bad as Charlie Brown's rock-filled trick-or-treat bag—just plain useless.

How To Write A Kick-A** Query Letter

You can find guidelines for writing query letters in many different places: online at sites like Charlotte Dillon's, in resource books like Writer's Market, or at your local writer's group or conference.

However, I thought it might be helpful for me to post the query letter I used when I was seeking representation for One Night in Boston. Of the 42 agents/editors I sent it to, 36 requested either a partial or a full manuscript as a follow-up, which is a pretty good return. Ultimately, I secured publication with Samhain Publishing, and it will be a Summer 2007 release.

In total, I've queried 4 novels over the last 6 years and received all kinds of feedback along the way. Now, I'm sharing with you the tips I've found most helpful:

    1. You are writing a business letter, or a business email, depending on the agent's preference, so follow the standard format. Contact info, paragraphing, spacing, closing, should all be appropriate and correct.

    2. Open your query letter with straightforward information. Some people suggest a "hook" in the first paragraph--just don't make it too long! I'd also suggest including the title of your work, the genre, the word count, and why you're contacting the agent (reference, response to conference pitch, found the agent on Agentquery.com, etc).

    3. The middle paragraph(s) should include a general description of your work, including the main characters and their struggle/conflict. What is their central goal? What is the overall theme of the story? How is this work both similar to, and different from, other works on the shelves today? What will make this attractive to the target audience? Who is the target audience?

    4. Include some brief biographical information about yourself. This means any education/experience with writing and any publishing history or contest wins you might have. It doesn't mean a long-winded description of how your great-aunt loves your work or how your three cats keep you company when you write in the wee hours of the morning. If you don't have any publications to your name, or specific background that relates to your genre or topic, then don't put anything at all. A simple statement such as "The Mystery of Seven Slippery Sisters" is my first complete novel is fine.

    5. Close with an offer to send more material, if you haven't included any in the first mailing. Make sure to indicate that the work is complete (and it should be, if you're querying agents).

    6. Proofread twenty times. At least. Then give it to five other people and ask them to proofread it. By the way, this includes confirming the spelling of the agent's name. Don't rely on one website or source for this; I'd check at least 2 different places.

    7. Open your letter/email with Dear First Name Last Name of agent. "Dear Agent," "To Whom It May Concern," and "Dear Sir or Madam" are too generic and suggest that you didn't do your homework. You need to target a specific individual, and I recommend using the person's full name rather than Mr./Ms./Mrs. to avoid any possible gender screw-ups. Ashley Grayson, for example, is a man. Wonder how many query letters he receives addressed "Dear Ms. Grayson…"??

    8. Make sure to follow the agent's guidelines when submitting material. Some will ask for a query letter only. Some accept emails only. Others want the first three chapters. Include a SASE for snail mail responses. Tell them they may recycle the partial/full manuscript unless you want to pay the return postage to get it back.

    9. Make a generous list of agents to target. Many people have an "A," "B," and "C" list of their top choices, and they work their way down. Unless the agent says "No multiple submissions," I recommend sending your query letter to multiple agents each day/week/month, according to your timeline. The query process can take a long time, and there's no need for you to wait for a reply from each single agent before you send out another query.

    10. Your query letter should be no longer than 1 page (or its equivalent, for an email). Really, agents slog through sometimes hundreds of queries each day. Get to the point, and grab their attention. Period.

Okay! Below is my original query letter for One Night in Boston, along with a few notes in brackets. Good luck with those queries, and remember: do not let rejections stop your query process. What one agent turns down, another may very well scoop up with excitement and enthusiasm. Keep at it!

    Dear Susie Agent:

Can anything really change in 24 hours? Can everything?

My mainstream romance novel, One Night in Boston, offers a twist for the contemporary romance reader because it takes place over the course of a single day and night. (Think of the award-winning television show "24" translated into the romance genre: twenty-four hours unfold in twenty-four chapters.) Complete at 85,000 words, One Night in Boston tells the story of Maggie Doyle and Jack Major, college lovers who meet ten years after their relationship ends and discover a renewed attraction that is both stronger and more complicated than the first love they shared. As RWA indicates that you are an agent who is accepting new romance writers I thought you might be interested in taking a look.

[Opening paragraph includes general info about the book, its length, its topic, what makes it unique, and why I'm sending her this letter]

Maggie, a single but struggling entrepreneur in rural Rhode Island, faces foreclosure on her interior design business, thanks to a spiraling small-town economy and her mother's nursing home bills. Her only option: find the stepbrother she hasn't spoken to in years and convince him to loan her the money she needs. Jack, meanwhile, has carried on his family's business legacy and become CEO of a major Boston corporation. He's also just become engaged to a successful attorney, who's planning the city's biggest wedding and driving everyone crazy doing it. Though the marriage will join two prominent families and please his father, sometimes Jack still thinks about the fireworks of his first love.

Maggie's search for her stepbrother leads her directly to a high-profile charity ball…and to Jack. A dance, some reminiscing, and a spontaneous kiss startle them both into realizing that old feelings haven't died. But then Jack's fiancée arrives at the ball, and Maggie flees only to find herself trapped in a violent storm that has closed half the city streets. Jack follows her, but when Maggie reveals the reason she left him in college, and the reason she cannot be with him now, both are forced to realize that people change, that memories are tempered by years, and that time alters even the things we most want to stay the same.

[Two body paragraphs give a very general overview of the hero and heroine, their goals, their conflicts, and the underlying theme of the book: that time changes everything, whether it's 24 hours or 10 years]

I am an RWA member who earned her PRO pin in 2003. Previous online publications/contest wins include "Time for Teacher", a narrative essay published by RunnersWorld.com in 2002, and "Hawkman and the Widow Thompson" (short story) and "Untitled" (poem) which won 1st and 2nd place in WriterOnline's Mystery Contest (2003) and 5 Senses Contest (2004), respectively. I am currently working on my next One Night…book, which will also explore the ways and places desire can bloom overnight. A synopsis, sample chapters, or the complete manuscript of One Night in Boston is available upon your request. Or, you may prefer to read an excerpt on www.allieboniface.com. I am available via email (allieb@allieboniface.com) or telephone (999-999-9999). Thank you for your time and consideration.

[Closing paragraph, while a little long, mentions my previous writing experience - notice no full-length publications - my membership in Romance Writers of America, which indicates an interest in and familiarity with the genre, and my contact info. While I did mention my plan for future One Night books, it's not a wise idea to query more than one project at a time. Notice it's a only a mention, here]

    Sincerely,

    Allie Boniface

Printer Ink Cartridge - Increasingly Widespread Use

Who can deny the importance of printers and printer ink cartridges as an essential item among office supplies? Printers are to be seen everywhere in any office you go. Even in homes, printers are being used extensively for various casual purposes. Many people use printers in homes when they want a high-quality printout of their favourite photos. Remove a printer from an office and its daily office business cannot run. Printing bills, cards, glossy brochures, proformas, notices are usual printing tasks seen in offices. Your printing requirements may range from simple rough draft printouts to high-quality glossy photo prints.

A printer ink cartridge supplies the ink to your printer for your printing processes. This ink spreads out on paper as printed matter during the printing process. You can replace the ink cartridge when the ink inside it is exhausted.

As far as printer ink cartridges are concerned, there are four premium brands which have worldwide consumers: HP (Hewlett Packard), Canon, Epson, Lexmark.

Be it standard ink meant for professional-quality photographs or paper prints, printer ink cartridges are available in many packages, big and small size, which give the users more choice and greater value for their printing needs. Apart from black and white, coloured ink cartridges are also available.

These days, various types of ink cartridges are available for enhanced consumer satisfaction. For example, HP has introduced multiple ink cartridges keeping in mind the varied needs of the consumers. Introduction of new ink cartridge packages are designed to save purchase costs for customers whose printing needs are nominal, and lower cost-per-page ink cartridge packages for customers whose printing requirements are high. This is so because the cost of ink cartridges is rather very high. Interestingly, purchase of these cartridges after three times can equal the purchasing cost of the printer itself.

Quick Thoughts on Personal Computer Hardware

It seems with every new set of software the computers must have better performance, more memory and greater processing speed. Yes, this is true enough and yet it seems that Moore's Law, Free Markets and Competition has kept up. You can buy a laptop for $599 with rebate if you shop around. MITs $100 computer will be $175 now, I predicted $225 barebones. Wrist Watch Vo-Activated all-in-one cell phones are coming soon too.

Many people say that it is not fair, just like new car models keep coming out each year? Well in the computer industry like the car industry some is planned obsolescence sure. But if the average person keeps their cars 2.5 to 3.5 years why worry. People buy new laptops every three years anyway, so isn't it about time again?

Some accuse the software companies and computer manufacturers for creating fake reasons to drive customer demand for their wares? I thus ask these critics of capitalism; Why are you telling me this? I understand that, but you need to talk with the consumer if this bothers you, not me.

Like these companies, I am an entrepreneur, I deliver to the consumer what they want, so does Google, Apple, IBM, HP, Dell and Microsoft. The consumer has voted, so honor their votes, that is what free markets are all about. Its called marketing.

Many who are critical of these marketing tactics say that customers already have solid usable systems and they should not be forced to buy new computers in order to upgrade their software? But consider that at the current rate people have to trade up every 3 years on their laptops anyway. I suppose that Microsoft would slow that process with web based applications if they ever went towards such a switch?

Of course hardware sellers and partners might not like it for their high-end full scale computers, but as devices get simpler it opens up the door to 100% of the customers. 6.6 Billion people rather than just the 1.656 Billion humans who can afford it. See? Well those are some thoughts to suggest and fodder for your Blog if you care to reply, be well my friend and happy commenting.

    Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Asia

Asian countries, such as China, Japan, India, are using cost advantages and software without any fear to attract the investors of the world. As we have earlier discussed that people are well equipped and well informed and making great changes to develop the region and challenging America's innovation. The recent survey of 200 mostly Fortune 500 companies found an "irreversible process" of traditional white-collar jobs being sent to Asia. Different data findings have shown that major leading American companies are not puling down this innovation in Asia. They are struggling to reduce the shortage of qualified and trained people by giving them fresh knowledge. They recognize that technology is a factor that can make a company and nation powerful. And without it, it is hard to achieve the economic goals. The great example is Japan and Korea, Japan has covered the Korean companies using technology.

China felt that they had several excellent sources, but their manufacturing capacity was limited. When orders swelled, it was decided to establish more industries in China to produce the more quality items and for this purpose America invested in it. This was the time when China entrepreneurs were working carefully with their partner. China however, continued to be interested in foreign investment, and Meringola found that he was welcomed by the Chinese, who helped set up "cooperative manufacturing" contracts, for his medical supplies. On the contrary, China assumed that America is obliged to make contracts with china.

In Asia, every company of different countries is trading and doing business at a large scale to generate new horizons and opportunities to their business and business people and this will definitely help in the development of region. Japan and China, for example, doing business and exchanging even their customers. They are utilizing innovative ideas and inventing new ways of business.

Article Marketing for the Purpose of Building Links III

Now, there is one circumstance where you do not want to do this as quickly as possible, and that is if you already have a ranked site, and you are just looking to get a little bit higher in the rankings. There is always the danger that if you already have 50 links and you get 50 more in just a few days, that the search engines could flag your site for spamming to get links, and penalize you by dropping your rankings for awhile. I have seen it happen a couple of times – not often, and not for long. But if you already have a bunch of links, just submit to a few article directories per week, so that you don't build your links up too fast.

Of course, if you have no ranking at all – then you really have nothing to lose by getting a lot of links fast.

There is one more thing you need to be aware of when your purpose is to gain as many links as possible as quickly as possible: you do not want the anchor text on all the inbound links to be exactly the same. If it is, the search engines may assume you paid some company to get your link on a bunch of web sites – and they don't like that. The search engines like to see 'natural' linking – linking that occurs naturally over the course of time. Of course, if you want to get a lot of links fast, you are going to be doing some things, like submitting a lot of articles, which is not necessarily 'natural' in its execution, although it is certainly widespread and one of the better techniques for getting links to your web site.

Sales Letter Writing - How to Make a Profitable Sales Letter

Sales Letter Writing like any other forms of business writing requires perfection. This is the reason why big businesses allot some money to its expenditures to getting and hiring the best business writers to ensure that they get only the best sales letter. This is so because the sales letter the company distributes forms part of its image. A "destructive" sales letter naturally impacts the business image. So, whether you are a small or a big business, the sales letter being a strong marketing tool should be developed and created with caution should you want your business to be profitable.

    * Develop a strong Subject Line. The subject line is a way of making your reader have a glimpse of what you want to convey. Make sure that you entice them enough to continue reading the entire content thru your subject line.

    * A strong subject line requires an equally strong content. After you have enticed them with your subject line, it is equally essential to sustain that interest. When they open your sales letter make sure that your letter includes all the good things you can offer. Enlist the benefits of the product and offer what solutions it can give to eliminate potential problems they have.

    * Make it easy for them to reach you. If a customer is interested with your product, make it impressively easy for them on how they can get one. It is best that you include in your sales letter any information they can use to contact you.

    * Time is essential. It is always best that consumers receive the latest updates in time. Do not delay your letters.

    * Learn from the best. Successful people learned from the experts. It will not do you any harm if you try to read other people's works and learn from them.

Creative Writing Secrets- 7 Ways To Be A Better Creative Writer Today

So you want to be a better creative writer?

Every one of us has the ability to improve our creative writing output, both in quantity and quality.

Here are 7 great ways you can use right away to be a better creative writer:

    1. Become a sponge. Absorb all that's around you, the tiny intricate details of the world that most people miss. A cobweb on a leaf, the rhythms of the city, the rise and fall of your partner's chest as they sleep.

Creative writing that's rewarding to write – and enjoyable to read - begins with noticing and appreciating the close up snapshots of everyday life.

    2. Visit a variety of places and environments. Every time we visit somewhere we've never been before, there's an abundance of new stimulation for our senses.

Become aware of how you feel in different places and environments and which make you feel more creative, and fill you with ideas.

    3. Watch classic foreign movies. Without subtitles! By removing one powerful element of communication – speech and language – we can see more clearly how people communicate in other ways.

See how emotions are demonstrated in the subtleties of facial expressions and small gestures. Don't mute the sound though. Listen to the changes in rhythms in the voices and see how much you can understand even without knowing the words they're using.

    4. Practice little and often. Have a daily ritual of writing creatively, even if it's just 3 lines of poetry or a couple of paragraphs. Go to a place you can write without distraction and where you feel encouraged to write.

With these routines in place, you begin to "give yourself permission" to store up your creativity in between and let it flow freely in these special time periods.

    5. Adjust your personal remote control. Imagine you have your own personal remote control handset, like a TV. Experiment with turning up the volume, increasing the brightness, or changing the colour saturation of the world around you.

Notice how when you focus on each element and increase or decrease the intensity of that element, you can have a more vivid experience of life around you.

    6. Practice writing with different length sentences. Start with a medium length sentence, say 12 words, describing a scene. Then add a word at a time to make it more richly descriptive, until it's double the original length.

Then go the other way, remove a word at a time while keeping the creative and descriptive essence of the sentence. See how few words you can use to still vividly describe the same scene.

    7. Observe people's conversations. Notice how people talk, their voices, the way their tone and volume changes, how they emphasise different words and syllables.

Notice too how people use their faces and hands to add impact to what they're saying. By being more aware of these details, you can make your own creative writing more rich and realistic.

These are just 7 useful ideas you can put into action today to help you develop your creative writing.

Which are YOU going to put into action next?
